Eduardo A. Undurraga, ingeniero civil UC, obtuvo un doctorado en Políticas Sociales en Brandeis University (Massachusetts), con una beca Fulbright, y un magíster en Estudios Sociales y Políticos Latinoamericanos en la Universidad Alberto Hurtado.

Trabajó como investigador en economía de la salud y modelación de enfermedades infecciosas en el US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) y en el Schneider Institutes for Health Policy, Brandeis University, en Estados Unidos, donde es actualmente Visiting Research Scholar. Fue finalista del premio Kaafee Billah Early Career Award (2017), otorgado por CDC. 

Es investigador asociado del Núcleo Milenio para el Estudio del Curso de Vida y la Vulnerabilidad (MLIV), y del Núcleo Milenio para la Investigación Colaborativa en Resistencia Antimicrobiana (MICROB-R).

Sus intereses de investigación están en la intersección de la salud humana con las ciencias sociales y las políticas públicas.
