Descripción

Cecilia es Médica Veterinaria por la Universidad de Buenos Aires, Magíster en Ciencias por la University of Wisconsin-Madison y Doctora en Ciencias Silvoagropecuarias y Veterinarias por la Universidad de Chile. Su línea de investigación se centra en el estudio de enfermedades zoonóticas en la interfaz humano-animal, bajo el enfoque de Una Salud.

Actualmente realiza un postdoctorado en la Escuela de Gobierno, financiado por ANID (Fondecyt de Postdoctorado 2026), titulado “Antimicrobial resistance from a One Health approach: investigating the relatedness of antimicrobial resistance patterns in Enterobacterales isolated from wild birds, environment, and humans”, en el cual investiga la presencia de bacterias resistentes a los antimicrobianos en aves silvestres y su relación con aquellas que circulan en el ambiente y en humanos.
